That's what one of our users said when they first used our new Expenses by Supplier widget. They expected groceries to top their list. Instead, it was online shopping - spread across dozens of small purchases that never seemed significant on their own.

The Problem We're Solving​

Tracking expenses by category tells you what you're buying. But it doesn't answer a simple question: Which merchants actually receive your money?

You might know you spend €500 on "Shopping" each month. But do you know if that's one store or twenty? Are you spreading your spending thin, missing out on loyalty rewards? Or concentrating it somewhere you could negotiate a better deal?

The Expenses by Supplier widget shows your spending broken down by merchant - as a pie chart, bar chart, or sorted grid. At a glance, you see:

  • Your top spending destinations
  • What percentage each merchant receives
  • How your spending is distributed

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click Edit → Add widget
  3. Select Expenses by Supplier
  4. Save and explore your data
